I've finished work on update 4.2.0 (lol) for my site skin customising extension. There are 2 new main features:
Header Customisation
You now have the option to easily change the colour of all the site headers/notifcation bar. Comes with full support for custom colours and preset saving too. Here's a couple examples from the settings page:
The preset colours come straight from the options from profile customisation.
Art Portal Background Button
Every art portal submission now has an extra button on the header. Pressing it will swap the current site skin background to whatever art you are viewing.
For multi art submissions, if the art is uploaded in the gallery format, you can choose a specific picture for the background. Otherwise it will default to the first image on the post.
You can also press the button a second time to toggle resizing the picture.
Minor Additions & Fixes
- Link/icon colour number 4 now uses the default Newgrounds logo on the notification bar
- Added crash warning to "Fill Boxes" on advanced settings if you have a file upload background image. Who is Phil Boxes?
- Fixed default checkboxes appearing on report forms with background opacity enabled
- Fixed link/icon colour number 0 not being loaded when applied from a preset
- Fixed the setting for "no site reset" not working

Other News
I've picked up work on my Mario Wanted! minigame recreation again, I've begun posting updates on Bluesky. As far as gameplay goes I've got more round patterns in than the original game, I think some are a lot more challenging too. It's been quite fun to play.
I've mentioned it before but I think I may drop the Psychonauts theme and instead open it up as a collab, where everyone can draw a 32x32 head for the game. Before that happens though I want to get the game in a more finished state. Once menus and the full gameplay loop is done I'll come to a decision and make a blog post about it.

This looks super crazy and everything but... Don't you think it's inconsiderate to the amazing artists who are selected to create the wallpapers every so often?
Don't take it the wrong way, I would definitely use it.

One of my favourite things about this site is the new wall art that comes around, so I don't wanna nullify the work people put into making them. That's why I made a setting (that is on by default) that will disable your current skin setup to show any new wall art that may come around.
