I went to the Newgrounds London Meetup last Saturday and I wanted to write a little recap post about it. If I'm gonna be honest I was nervous as hell before going to this. I haven't really spoken to a lot of people on this site before, so going out of my way to meet a bunch of (mostly) strangers was very out of my comfort zone. Thankfully though everyone there was super cool and I enjoyed meeting you all.

I'm not the best with words so I'll just dump a bunch of photos and write a bit about them.

As I mentioned, I was meeting a lot of people for the first time here. Here's some cool people I talked to on the day. Left to right it's me, @DeeDotNG, @GuyHitchens, @KooliozArt and @qboy. I took this right before I left the venue and caught my train home.

I also got to talk to Matt Hargreaves of @eddsworld! I got into art from watching Eddsworld as a kid, so it was great to meet him.

On top of talking to people, there were also plenty of stickers being passed out between us all. I brought some of my own to give out too. I already posted them on the art portal, check them here ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓

I put them all on a brand new sketchbook I bought specifically for the event. I'm not good at drawing traditionally AT ALL, so hopefully this decorated book will encourage me to try and improve more.

I also got some people to sign on the inside of the book's front cover too!

There was this whiteboard at the venue a few people were scribbling on. I drew some silly little Vaporeon on the top left. I drew this same Vaporeon in a few other people's sketchbooks too.

@CappyCatII was drawing a bunch of people in their sketchbook during the day. My face got put onto a Vaporeon head lol (bottom right).

There was a little seating area outside the venue. I spent a good chunk of the day sat out here because it was so hot inside. The Newgrounds documentary was also being filmed out here, so I'm probably in a lot of background footage haha.

Overall this event was really fun. Everyone I got to meet was really nice and I loved meeting you all. If there's anymore meetups happening in the UK I will definitely try and come again (and hopefully i'll be a little less awkward)
